Halloween Treat Balls

3 Tablespoons margarine

1 - 10oz bag large marshmallows

1 teaspoon vanilla

1/2 teaspoon orange food coloring

6 cups Cherios

black and orange gum drops

Heat margarine and mashmallows in a 3 quart saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly, until melted. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla and food-color. Fold in cereal until well coated. Shape warm mixture into balls with buttered hands. Place balls on wax paper. Cut gumdrops into fourths and press onto balls. Wrap with cellophane and tie with ribbon.
